This is a book in the Green Mountain series about a wonderful family. I strongly suggest to read the books in order. I feel like Marie Force does a wonderful job at writing a family series. You get so involved with every character. There is nothing stale about these books. There are new situations and new people to meet in each and every one. When you finish a book with a smile on your face, you know the author has produced a hit. Marie makes me want to move to this quaint little town and be a part of this wonderful family. I feel every emotion that they feel. I love as hard as they do. I laugh at Fred, the Moose. I'm just in awe that Marie can keep cranking out these wonderful books. This book will focus on Gavin and Ella. We know from past books in this series that Ella is head over heels in love with Gavin. We aren't quite sure about his feelings until this book. Gavin's brother, Caleb, was killed while fighting for his country. Gavin never got over it. He is still doing stupid stuff that shows he is still in pain. Ella tries to help him in every way possible, but she is getting to the end of her rope with him. Gavin, Gavin, Gavin,.......I'm shaking my head at you. You made me so mad during this book. I loved the way his dad lit into him. Ella is a strong female in this book. I just loved her. She and Gavin together are electric, but can they overcome his demons? Dual point of view. There are also a few other points of view in this book as well. No cliffhanger, but we do know that Elmer and Lincoln are already plotting the getting together of the next couple. I just know more great things are to come.
